Um... Well, it started a long time ago, but I only found about it a few hours before we all came here.

I know, but... The important part is that it can't kill anyone else while I'm here. I can still stop it before that happens.

[an awkward pause]

I don't think it's a good idea. Um, for anyone to come at all. Once we get a little further, I'm going to ask the staff, but... If we get something like what most people are familiar with, where we get to visit each other after this, I think it's a better idea if my world is left out of that arrangement.

Yes.

[he takes a second to find the best way to explain it.]

The threat that we're facing... There's a person that it's tied to, it follows him wherever he goes. He's a coward who's been running from it for years, so if he found a way to try to escape to another world, he'd do it even if he put the people there at risk. And if it made it to other worlds, it'd do the same thing it did to mine. It took my entire kingdom in less than two days. I'm going to do my best to stop it, but if something happens, I don't want it to have the opportunity to spread out to the rest of you.
