I'm still learning what it means to feel these things, I think, so I am not sure what to do with it.

Well... I wasn't really concerned about how interesting it would be. It was more like, I wanted to make sure you were okay?

... I will be okay. Every day is a learning experience, right? I'm simply catching up to things you have felt your entire life.

Well... It's pretty important to me, and it's not really hard to do.

Sounds a little overwhelming, but - I bet it's nice, too. I mean, new experiences, new feelings, that kind of thing. Maybe not nice in this specific case, but...

If there is one good thing from these places, it's that I get to spend a lot more time with humans than I would normally.

Oh, do you and Mikazuki normally not get to?

Only when we are sent on missions, and even then we're really not supposed to socialize... If we do, it usually means something is going horribly wrong.

[agleam]

Why's that? Isn't it a good thing to get to know people? I mean, if you're on a mission I guess you're supposed to be focused on that, but still!

Our missions involve traveling back in time. I guess the simplest explanation is... there is a group who is trying to change history, so we have to make sure the flow of time remains the same. We have to be careful with how we interact with the people in that time or we might end up making a mess.

[ a mess is always made. ]

That must have been hard... I mean, being around so many people, but not being able to talk to them.

You get used to it.

There are times when we are forced to interact though and we just have to... wing it...

Yeah? Like, what kind of situations?

There are cases where people are attacked outright, so we are forced to jump in to save them... and then of course they want to know why there is a group with swords just hanging around...

[agleam]

It would be a lot easier if we were invisible.

...Yeah, come to think of it, I don't really know why I assumed that?

Because it would make it much easier...

I would love to be able to be invisible. There are so many possibilities.
