I don't think he's the type to lie about something like that. We both went to daycare on the same week, so he's one of the only people back at the school I was with the entire time... And he never seemed like the person who would try to avoid taking responsibility for choices he made. Besides, if he was going to make up a story, I'd be really surprised if that's what he went with.

That's - one way to say it. Seriously, though... I don't even necessarily think he's a bad person, but that doesn't make what he did okay. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have gone through with it, but that's not an excuse.
