[ a baby!! both of them. strohl junior is around here, he's actually probably running into doors not too far away. he has an intelligence of two.

vi glances up at rupert. ]

We did, but... Sometimes you can know something's going to happen, and it's still pretty rough when it does.

Not great? I mean, um - we knew this was going to happen, but that doesn't make it better. I didn't know him too well myself, but he was a friend of a few friends from one of the other places I've been.

[ makes a face at him before shifting so she can pet porridge. ]

Yeah? God, they really just grab a lot of people from the same few places, huh.

She's brilliant. Smartest kid I've ever known, makes all sorts of inventions in her spare time. I don't know where she got it from, but she's got it in spades.
