[she didn't know alphinaud that well, but. she frowns, and then:] I'm sorry, bud. Can I help? Let's get you cleaned up and maybe I can take a look at your head to make sure it isn't too bad.
Yeah. I don't remember Claude or the others mentioning a weird dream, but...
[he isn't really sure that any of them are the type to admit to something like that even if it did happen. anyways.]
I was walking through a forest, and I kept hearing this voice tell me to run, but for some reason I felt like I was just imagining it, and I had to keep calm because someone was waiting for me just ahead. Then I got... attacked by people I recognize, people who are - gone, back home. But it kind of just kept happening over and over again? They'd attack me and I'd wake up at the start of the forest again when it was over.
That sounds kind of like Claude's, actually. Vaguely. Wasn't his having to do with mechanical things that looked like his friends trying to beat him up?
Is he scared of machines or something? Not that he needs to be in order to not like having a dream about his friends trying to beat him up, but - I guess every part of mine just felt really personal.
Oof, that's rough. [she gently takes a towel and starts very gently brushing dirt and debris out of his hair and making sure the bump isn't going to get any worse.] Well, I'm glad you're okay. Sorry the uh, the old RNG got you this week.
[he wrinkles his nose a little after it's booped, but he doesn't look bothered.]
I don't know if any of the others have mentioned it to you, but we had something a little similar at the school. Less extreme, definitely, but two people would wake up in random locations on Friday mornings.
Mm, I don't know what exactly made them get moved outside, but...
[he frowns]
I mentioned before I was part of the group that had to - you know. Um, we had the choice between three people each week, and all three would wind up outside their dorms... But the two we didn't pick would just sleep through it.

[...] I might've had the same dream, actually.

What was your dream?

[she shoos him off in the direction of her room.]

[he'd assumed so, but he'll head that way as she shoos him.]

Hm. [she watches him for a second.] Well, okay. I guess I won't ask, then, if you don't want to talk about it.
no subject
You can ask if you want to. It's just that it's a long story, and I think it was too personal to have anything to do with what happened to Alphinaud.

[DON'T JUST SAY IT LIKE THAT]
... I'm sorry, though. That sounds really awful.

[i love lup so much
he nods, though, after a second.]
Thanks. But... I'll be alright. I'm pretty sure whoever's in charge just wants to freak me out, I'm not going to let them win.

[she tugs him to the bathroom so she can fuss over his head, though.]
You got bonked, huh? Did you wake up before everybody else, too?
no subject
I'm pretty sure, yeah. It was completely dark in there, so I couldn't see what was going on at all before I got hit.

[teach him your slang]
no subject
I don't know if that's what's happening! Just, you know.

[......]
Honestly, I might feel a little bit better if it were random.

Well, fuck. I hope that's not the case here.
