2. You open a door and find yourself in an art gallery, full of paintings of people you know from your own world and from your sojourn into your previous games. They're watching you. Always watching you. The paintings appear normal, at first, but slowly shift until they depict the people you know in horrifying, traumatic situations, their eyes fixed on you accusingly. No matter where go, their eyes follow you. After what feels like an entire day in the gallery you find yourself back in the hall, disoriented and with the unshakeable sensation of being watched. Only four minutes have passed.
[ hi rupert, welcome to the weirdo art museum that has yet to turn on either of them! currently, kaeya has only just arrived, looking around as though uncertain of where precisely to start. he turns his head the moment he hears another person present, his expression easy-going. ]
[ whatever conjured them up is clearly observing and having the time of their life. nothing was ever accomplished standing still so... down the doors he's gone and this one is.
eerie, but calm. he'll take it. for now. ]
Something's off. We'll just have to keep vigilant as we go.
[ he does glance around to truly take in anyone familiar and gives a nod. ]
But yes, some of them are rather familiar... what about you?
If they have the ability to do that, I'm going to guess they'll use it no matter what I say.
[he's fully assuming they are The Worst. he gives a nod to the question, though, glancing around until he comes to the first painting he recognizes.]
That's Adora. She's a really amazing person, really kind... She always does her best to make sure everyone else is happy, but sometimes that means she doesn't take care of what she needs.
Yep! You mentioned you guys were split into groups back where you are, right? We were, too, and Adora and I were in the same group. They were all based on different seasons, and we got put into Winter together.
[his smile softens a little.]
It was a really great group of people, for the most part.

Yeah! This place isn't that bad. Just a little, uh...
[creepy! he can definitely feel the paintings watching him even if they haven't shifted into something horrifying yet.]
I'm guessing some of them are of people you recognize?

[at least for once, it won't be as bad as he's imagining.]
The same. Some friends from home, and some from the school.

[ as he says that, however, he swears that he feels something unsettlingly alive about the first painting over his shoulder. ]
How about an exchange. [ he gestures ] Introduce me?

We had to keep ours a secret. Our designation was placed on a coin, the mark of which the owner could only see.

[he blinks.]
Wait... What's the point of that?

[that sentiment is echoed in his voice, but after a moment:]
Oh - the greater Authority, was that... Someone told me that your group killed god in the end...?

That's right. We sent a bomb to them.
