[gestures intently to the person inside the snake, who he does not know will appear as someone different to tsuru.

despite the murderous vibes, he's going to reach for her if he doesn't immediately get stopped.]

[ rupert why!!!!

tsuru goes to pull him back, except he finally gets a good look at the face inside the snake's mouth. he only stops for a second, but it's probably enough time for rupert to get a lil bite as a tweat. after, though, he's just yanking him back away from the door. ]

[because he's stupid (pensive)

anyways, after they've both been bitten and he's being pulled back, the door slams on the monster. they're free! but he can still hear the screaming, so he's trying to get out of tsuru's hold (which is probably useless, but it's fine).]

Let go! She's still in there!

She isn't! I didn't see this Cecily, I saw someone else-- it's an illusion.

[ unless rupert is a lot stronger than he looks, it'll be pretty useless. tsuru's grip is very strong. ]

[he is, as we all know, a twink, so it's definitely useless. it takes a few seconds for that to register, but when it does, he at least stops struggling, taking a breath instead.]

...Okay. You can let go now, I'm not going to do anything.

[ well, he's trusting him, so he'll let go of him. ]

... it's fine. Let's move away from the door.

[he runs back to the door

no he doesn't, he just stands here and glares at it instead. angy.]

...So that's what they think of as entertainment.

[ he glances at the other doors. ]

They are likely not much better.

[he mutters something under his breath, before he takes another breath and calms down a fraction.]

...At least it gives us more of an idea of what they're looking for.

It is not a good sign for what might be in store for us.

[ it's the first week!

he sighs. ]

[it's quiet, before he remembers - he was busy being angry and distressed, but he wasn't the only one who saw something awful.]

[ he glances at his arm. ]

I'm still learning what it means to feel these things, I think, so I am not sure what to do with it.

Well... I wasn't really concerned about how interesting it would be. It was more like, I wanted to make sure you were okay?

... I will be okay. Every day is a learning experience, right? I'm simply catching up to things you have felt your entire life.

Well... It's pretty important to me, and it's not really hard to do.

[he nods at the next part, though.]

Sounds a little overwhelming, but - I bet it's nice, too. I mean, new experiences, new feelings, that kind of thing. Maybe not nice in this specific case, but...

It is. I get rather excited when I get to experience something new.
