It's been really nice, though. I mean, getting to know everyone while I was back there. I didn't really have a chance to make a lot of friends while I was growing up, so...

[and then he died very early in the school and went back home to make a lot of friends who would all be eventually killed because season three exists. very funny.]

Well - the whole thing about the prophecy... I don't think a lot of people wanted to befriend someone they didn't think would last. [but anyways,] And when you're in line to gain a lot of power, it's hard to know whether people want to get to know you for you, or because they think they can benefit from it. It was kind of a mixture of both of those things.

The second part is truly first world problems and Souji once again feels a bit out of his league in terms of the discussion point.] I can see why that would make things difficult for you. It's certainly much easier to make friends in places like this, where no one knows your circumstances or your history.
