[sometime after anders has been sufficiently fussed over he's in the flight deck terrace with porridge curled up near him. when he sees maya, he gives a little wave, still sounding stressed.]

there's nothing to be found in the simulation room but he still stays for a minute or two, looking down at his phone, even after everyone wakes up. after he processes for a second:]
