Why would they do that?

Being in there erodes your sense of self. Your identity, your morals, your face, name, memories. Anger is the easiest thing to hold onto. And it grows the more you fail to escape.

But... You managed to resist that, at least enough to back out when things started going wrong?

If we don't agree then why would it matter to you?
