his bed sits on a thick rug, with more than a couple pillows resting near the headboard. A few feet away is an armoir, and a decoration on the wall (it's easy to tell the swords are not real). there's also a sofa near a bookcase. the spines of the fake books contained on the shelf seem to vary between books about history, politics, adventure novels, fairy tales, and mythology. the clock sitting on the wall makes a soft ticking noise every so often, adding to the noise of the crackling fireplace. a woven tapestry sits on the wall above the fireplace.

Ah, yeah, that's Porridge! He's from back home. [he grins.] He's a pretty heavy sleeper, so you don't need to worry about keeping your voice down or anything.

Yeah, he is. He's normally a lot bigger than this - I guess they shrunk him somehow? But he doesn't seem like it hurt him at all, so I think it's okay. Now he's kind of the size he was when he had just hatched.
He definitely had a strange look in his eyes when he saw him and I don't particularly want to take chances. It's fine! I'll just, um. Watch him very carefully whenever I'm out of the room. I promise.
Tsurumaru Kuninaga is also a sword. We two were forged long ago... and even before our spirts were made manifest, our paths had crossed. In that way, we have met before - and met again for the first time in the village.
